ALI ABDULLATEEF ALATEEQI

He is the esteemed Ali Abdullateef Ali Abdulmuhsin AlAteeqi. He launched his business initiative starting from India and grew to become a well known businessman in Kuwait owning fourteen (14) shops located close to his “Dewan” (building designated for social gatherings open for men to discuss all matters), which was next to his luxurious home in the dove market area of “Alwasat” (old central Kuwait neighborhood).

He used to pay “honorary” taxes for his shops to Sheikh Ahmad Aljaber AlSabah due to their location being directly on the main road. He passed away in 1951 may Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon him.
