FAHAD MOHAMMED ALATEEQI AT KUWAIT AIRPORT 1960S
This photo was taken at Kuwait’s British built Military Airport , of the Airport Director Fahad Mohammed Saleh AlAteeqi with his sons Abdulaziz and Saleh in the 1960s. He was a brave pilot and often flew above the Kuwait skies above the applause and cheers of on lookers in the British built Auster plane. He was of the first pilots class, whom were trained and certified in Great Britain and was ranked amongst the top three in his class. He was appointed by Sheikh Abdullah AlMubarak AlSabah at Kuwait Customs then General Manager and Chief over the Airport on 10/1/1954. He remained in that position until the late 60s after which he was appointed assistant deputy minister of Justice.
