SHEIKH ABDULAZIZ H ALATEEQI MOSQUE

This Mosque located in the heart of old Kuwait city was built by Sheikh Abdulaziz Hamad Saif AlAteeqi in approximately the year 1835. It is considered the first Alateeqi built Mosque in Kuwait positioned close to the current Al-Duaij Market. It was commonly referred to as the Nabhan Mosque with regards to its “muathin” (the man responsible for calling the Athan- prayer time)
